FUN 1 These players are new to ringette and skating. Lots of on-ice coaches and helpers, with focus on skating, fun, interaction, and ring touches. All games half ice. One practice per week. No regular game schedule.  2016-2021 Mondays 6 p.m. starting mid-October

FUN 2 (learn to play) Players have basic skills, but still learning. Focus on improving skating, ringette-specific rules, and team play experiences. All games are half ice. One practice per week. Approximately 16 games / season.  2017-2018 Mondays 6 p.m. starting mid-October

FUN 3  (U10) Emphasis on learning all parts of the game, and trying different positions, including goalie. Introduction of more dynamic team play, passing, and shooting technique. Games are full ice. Approximately 20 games / season. 2015-2016 Tuesdays 6 p.m. starting mid-September

U12B Continued work on all aspects of the game, increased familiarity with positioning and introduction of 30 second shot clock. Approximately 20 games / season. 2013-2014 Tuesdays 6 p.m. starting mid-September

Open B (18+)  CRA has joined a league within the Waterloo Region for all games. 2005 or earlier Around 22 games within the season.

* Additional fees may apply for all players based on activities (tournaments, social, etc.) the team participates in throughout the season.

Ringette Ontario specifies that one parent of every ringette player under the age of 18 is required to take the Respect in Sport Parent Program before participating in ringette programming. This course is mandatory to have the Player’s registration approved.

Need financial help?

Funding is available for children between 4 - 18 years old through the Canadian Tire Jumpstart program. You may qualify for a grant if your family meets the Low Income Cut-Off criteria. Learn more and apply online.
