Next Tuesday, April 1st, we’re hosting a Bring-a-Friend-to-Ringette night at Cambridge Sports Park - Rink 4, and we’d love to see the ice packed with new faces!
Cambridge Ringette is recruiting across all levels, but I’d especially love to see a few more FUN2/FUN3/U12 players join the ranks next season. There’s no limit on guests—so if your child has friends, classmates, cousins, or neighbours who might be interested in ringette, invite them all! The more, the merrier!
Colleen (aka FUN2 junior Coach Mackenzie's mom / U16 coach / Marketing/PR/Communications wizard / FUN1 helper / tournament co-ordinator extraordinaire) has put together some great printable invites your kids can hand out at school or events. I’ll send those out shortly, but I’ll also print extras to bring to Friday’s Rangers game in case anyone wants some in hand.
We’re expecting a wide range of skill levels on the ice, so extra help is always welcome! If you'd like to hop on, just bring your helmet. (Seriously—a coach in Kitchener got a major concussion this season, even with a helmet. Kids are fast and fearless [aka unpredictable]!)
