Special Membership Meeting

A special membership meeting is being held to vote on changes to our bylaws as required by the Ontario’s Not-for-Profit Corporations Act (ONCA). The Act came into effect in 2021 and is bringing a lot of changes for nonprofits, including the Cambridge Ringette Association (CRA). 

Generally, the changes will help modernize the rules and make record keeping easier for nonprofits. Other proposed changes are intended to help the board to better comply with its obligations, including by simplifying governance.
